Theory of Selfishness

There is selfishness in all relationships in this world. Even a sensitive relationship between a mother and child is not free of selfishness. Let me explain. A mother never wants her child to suffer. Now the question is why does a mother not want her child to suffer? I am sure all mothers will answer "I suffer when my children suffer". So what does that mean? That means that when the child suffers, the mother suffers as well and she does not want her child to suffer which in turn causes suffering for herself. Therefore, a mother does not want to suffer herself. So does she not want her children to suffer for her own sake?

Love is addiction

How do we define "Love"? Answers will vary. As long as I am concerned, it is a kind of addiction. To stretch the point, let's look at someone who is addicted to weed. If you give him a new and stronger addiction such as Heroin, he won't take it. Even if he tries it, he will still feel a strong desire for weed. Such is Love. For an example, I love Noboni. I know she may not be the perfect girl but I would chose her over the perfect girl if I was given the choice. I would chose Noboni because even the perfect girl would not be able to quench the thirst I have for her.
Same is true for one's family such as mother, father, brother and sister. My mother may not be the perfect mother. Even then nobody else can take her place.
So says I, Love is addiction.
